Científicos del CNIO duplican la supervivencia de personas con metástasis cerebral, la supervivencia media de un paciente que tiene metástasis cerebral es de cuatro a seis meses. Sin embargo, ahora, un equipo de científicos españoles ha logrado aumentar su vida hasta los 15 meses, y sin efectos secundarios, gracias a la administración de silibinina, una molécula que se extrae del cardo mariano.
